I get the following error when I try to use the new web viewer:

System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: [HttpWebRequest_WebException_RemoteServer]

Arguments: NotFound

The build I'm trying to use is 14996

We're in the middle of some active development of the Webstation. The wcf bindings have been changed to be http instead of net.tcp, plus we've moved the server side rendering into IIS instead of it being done in the shredhostservice. Its going to take a bit before its stable. The benefits are that we should be able to secure the communication between client & server, plus the clientaccesspolicy.xml file should no longer be needed.

Hi Steve,

How's the development going? I've just downloaded the latest update but unfortunately it is still unable to load the web viewer :(

It seems to be related to the application service....

DM, can you give some more specific error information? The Webstation should be operational now with the code in the trunk.

I noticed that if I access the wcf service from the browser (http://localhost/ImageServer/Services/ApplicationService.svc/basicHttp), I get the following error:

This looks to be a bug with the code as checked in. It appears to mostly work when using the Visual Studio Development Server to host up the web pages, but it does not work when the site is hosted within IIS at this point. We'll look into it.

I've found the issue. It was related to the Web.Common.Services assembly having a different version number to what was specified in the web.config file.

Hi Hakan,

I just recompiled the Web.Common.Services library with the same version number as what was specified in the web.config file.
