Hi there,

Sadly, we are undergoing a full data migration from the imageserver to another PACS system at one of our facilities.  I was wondering how to create an automated rule which will perform a DICOM send on all the studies to a specified AE Title, IP address and port found on the other PACS system?  I am familiar with the XML server rules which I can insert, but I am not sure how to setup/formulate all the correct parameters to tell the imageserver to send everything over to the new AE title.  Ideally, we would like the studies to be transferred in reverse-chronilogical order, so that the newer studies are sent first.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to apply auto-route rules to studies already existing on the server. The rules are only applied when a study is initially processed.

If you're willing to do a bit of SQL code, it would be possible to call the InsertWorkQueue stored procedure to insert a WebMoveStudy record into the workqueue for each study stored on the system. This would be the most straightforward way to automatically transfer the studies.
