I'm having trouble at one of our ImageServer 2.0 installations when a Device is connecting that is unknown to the ImageServer and should be added. The following message is added to the log at that time:

Any idea how to fix this issue?

What are your values for the "Accept Any Device" and "Auto insert device" options for the partition? Seems like the combination of these settings is probably causing the bug.

Accept Any Device is on and Auto insert device is off.

Turning Auto insert device on does not trigger the bug.

Turning both Accept Any Device and Auto insert device off will reject the association as expected with the message: Calling AE Title Not Recognized

 Martin,

I did a search through our ticket system, and it appears that there was one bug related to this:

The strange thing is is that this appears to be a ticket that was actually fixed and tested in the 2.0 milestone.  2.0 was released in Feb. of 2010, and this ticket was closed in Jan. of 2010.  Anyways, sounds like its a bug and there's not much to do about it at this point.

Steve
