The following videos demonstrate a few features of the ClearCanvas Workstation. You can see videos of other products on our Videos Page and YouTube Channel.
There are a number of different ways to get help if you experience problems with ClearCanvas Workstation:
- Take a look at our comprehensive product documentation included with your ClearCanvas Product.
- Post your question on our forums. ClearCanvas personnel, as well as other Workstation users in the community, regularly read and respond to issues there. There's a good chance somebody out there knows the solution to your problem.
- If you purchased ClearCanvas Workstation Clinical Edition from our online store, you have two technical support options:
Phone: Have your license key ready and call 1-855-815-5504 toll free. Our support line is open between 0900h to 1700h EST (1400h to 2200h GMT), Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian holidays.
In either case, we will do everything we can to help you resolve your problem, including, with your permission, remoting into your desktop to ensure the issue is dealt with quickly.
- If have purchased ClearCanvas Workstation Clinical Edition from an Authorized ClearCanvas Reseller, you can contact them for support.
- Is Workstation Clinical Edition compatible with your open source products?
Workstation Clinical Edition will work with the ImageServer and other DICOM archives, just as the Community Edition does. However, because it is a standalone viewer, it does not include integrated RIS functionality.
- Is the Community Edition FDA cleared?
Only the Clinical Edition is licensed as a medical device in the US and therefore only it is FDA cleared.
- Can I use the Clinical Edition for diagnostic purposes?
Yes, if you live in Canada or the US. We are in the process of pursuing CE marking for use in Europe. In other countries, please check with your medical device regulatory body.
- What’s the difference between the Clinical Edition and the Community Edition?
The Clinical Edition is FDA cleared and offers a number of value added features not present in the Community Edition. See our comparison chart for details.
- Now that you’ve gone commercial, what will happen to the open source versions of your products? Will you close source them at some point?
We are fully committed to keeping our core products open source. That is an integral part of our mission to make medical imaging informatics accessible to all. Of course, like any other company, we also need to be profitable and sustainable so that we can continue to achieve our mission. And that’s why in the coming months, we’ll be offering more great commercial products for sale.
