Users

Introduction

In Enterprise mode, users can be added, edited and deleted from the ImageServer. Only users that have administrative tokens can manage other users. Any enabled user has access to the ImageServer and can perform different actions on the ImageServer based on the authority tokens that are part of their profile. Authority tokens are grouped together in a "User Group", and a User can belong to one or many User Groups. The activities a user can perform are based on all of the authority tokens in each of the User Groups they are a part of.

Add Users

There are three configurable user attributes:

User ID:        the login id of the user

Name:        the display name of the user

Groups:        the groups that the user is a part of. A user can be part of many groups.

 

Edit Users

When a user has been added to the system their attributes can be edited, with the exception of their User ID, which is unique.

A user can be disabled, which will prevent them from being able to log in without deleting their profile from the system.

 

A user's password can also be reset by pressing the "Reset Password" Button.
