The ImageServer user interface is a Web GUI accessible from the machine where the Web components are installed with the URL http://localhost/ImageServer. The user interface requires that support for Javascript and cookies are enabled. The user interface is currently only supported on Internet Explorer.
The Interface is divided into 3 primary sections:
Studies |
Used to search for studies in the ImageServer and to perform operations on those studies such as moving, deleting and editing. |
Queues |
There are four queues that the ImageServer uses - Work Queue, Archive Queue, Restore Queue and Study Integrity Queue. The queues can be searched an appropriate operations performed on items in the queue. |
Configure |
Enables features of the ImageServer to be configured such as Server Partitions, Partition Archives, File Systems, Server Rules, Scheduling and Devices. |
All of the screens (with minor exceptions) have six basic components, as shown below:
1. Navigation Menu: The Navigation Menu provides access to the different sections of the ImageServer. The Queues and Configure menu items also have sub menu options.
2. Partition Tabs: The partition tabs enable a user to select which partition they are working with (if there is more than one partition).
3. Search Parameters: The search parameters enable the user to search the section of the ImageServer for the items they are interested in working with.
4. Item Toolbar: The Item toolbar provides operations that can be performed on the items in the search results. Operations that are disabled because they cannot be performed for a particular item are grayed out.
5. Search Toolbar: The Search Toolbar provides next/previous controls for paging through search results and the number of items found.
6. Search Results: This is a table with columns that contains the items that have been returned as a result of a search.
7. User Information: User name, the number of critical alerts, and a Logout link.

The various screens have been grouped with their associated features within this documentation.
