Editing Studies

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Some details of a study can be edited by clicking on the "Edit Study" button. (Note that a study can be deleted by clicking the "Delete Study" button and reprocessed by clicking the "Reprocess Study" button. If these buttons are disabled, a message on the screen will indicate what operations are waiting to be performed on the study that prevent the user from modifying the study).

Editing patient information may result in splitting or merging studies. If the patient demographics entered matches another patient in the system, the study will be attached to that patient. If there are other studies associated with the current patient, a new patient will be created for the study being edited.

When the ImageServer is configured for archival, editing of a study will cause the study to be rearchived with the new demographics data.

Note:

When a study is edited, ImageServer will record the change in the Study History and display it in the Study Details screen.
