The filesystem configuration page is used to configure the filesystems associated with the ImageServer. Filesystems can be added at any time. The ImageServer service automatically polls for additional filesystems and will start using them after they are added. The main search screen shows a graph with the current disk usage and watermark settings. Filesystems can be queried or added and edited.

The Add/Edit dialog contains a General tab and a Watermarks tab.
The General tab is used to set the following general settings:
| • | Description: A textual description of the filesystem |
| • | Path: The root path where the filesystem is located. If the filesystem is on a remote system, it is recommended that UNC paths be used. |
| • | Filesystem: This option sets the tier of storage the filesystem is associated with. The Tier of storage the filesystem is associated with can be changed at any time. Note, however, that there should always be a filesystem associated with Tier 1. |
| • | Read: Specifies if the filesystem is readable. When not checked, the ImageServer will not read any studies and will fail when a study is requested from the filesystem. |
| • | Write: When not checked, the ImageServer will no longer store new incoming studies to it, but studies already stored to the filesystem will still be read from the filesystem. |
The Watermarks tab is used to set the high and low watermark for the filesystem. It also displays the current disk usage for the filesystem
