ImageServer 2.0 Installation

This chapter contains instructions on how to prepare a first-time ImageServer installation on a computer. This means that you do not have a previous version of ImageServer installed on the computer and do not have a database from a previous version which you wish to use with this new installation. If you have a previous version of 1.5 SP1 and wish to upgrade to 2.0, please refer to the upgrading section of the ImageServer User Guide.

Prerequisites

Before launching the ImageServer Installer you must have the following components installed:

1.	Microsoft Internet Information Server (may require Windows Installation Disc)

2.	Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extensions 1.0

3.	Microsoft SQL Server

4.	Filesystem(s) for DICOM storage (external disks must be made accessible)
