We're really excited to unveil our web-based, DICOM image viewer: ClearCanvas Webstation. Included as part of the ClearCanvas ImageServer, you can now view studies right within your web-browser.

The ClearCanvas Webstation is a Silverlight client built on the same architecture as our ClearCanvas Workstation Desktop Application, with one major change: everything is done server-side. All of the core features of the ClearCanvas Workstation are here, and new features can easily be added using the plugin architecture.

We've also put together a couple of videos for a quick overview of the main features and an outline of the technical details. Check out the ClearCanvas Webstation Community Preview Release today and let us know what you think!

Please note that this release of the ClearCanvas Webstation is for testing purposes only and should not be used in a production environment.

Re: ClearCanvas Webstation Community Preview Release

The Webstation as it is released in the Community Preview only has the ability to support a single user, which is defined at installation time.

Great way to get your names out there. The webstation is what finally got me to seriously think about switching from a DCM4CHE pacs to CC.

Guys this is very good. better if you can introduce jpeg streaming for quicker analysis. because it wait until full image download. and try to give a buttons for send one still images through email.
also facilitate CD burning facility with embedded viewer.

Keep it up your good work.

Re: ClearCanvas Webstation Community Preview Release

samix4u,

There certainly are lots of features that we could be adding to both the Webstation and our viewer. FYI, the nature of the design of the webstation is not conducive to doing jpeg streaming. I doubt if we will ever do that.

Thanks for the great feedback and caring about the products to respond.
