Dear,

I would like to start a research project using Clear Canvas community edition. Eventually the PACS will probably be for clinical use. At this point I would like to switch from community to team edition. Can this be done through upgrading the community edition or do I have to reinstall the entire system?

Tim,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, you can upgrade the Community Edition to the Team Edition. We've specifically always allowed this upgrade in our Team Edition installers. So, you can start with the Community Edition and upgrade later to the Team Edition.
