We have a facility that receives studies from several outside sources to be read. We are encountering that many of the modality AE_TITLES are the same. So when we are setting up our autoroutes by ae_title, we are mixing up different centers studies due to the ae_title. is there a way to also check the originating IP address so that the autoroute will work correctly?

attached is a sample of our autoroute text.

Thank you

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to route based on source IP Address. There's probably two options: One would be to route on an additional tag, such as Institution Name. This would have to be filled in properly by your remote sites. The other option would be to create additional partitions on your server for each remote site, have them send to their dedicated partition, then have the appropriate rules setup in each partition. Note that you could forward the studies internally in the ImageServer to the primary partition after they are received.

Can you please provide an example script so that we may try using the institution name to route?

Thank you in advance

Just use $InstitutionName as the tag to match on in the rules, otherwise it should work like any other rule matching on a DICOM tag.
