I have a CT image and on the top right, I noticed something in the text overlay I don't understand.

 
From the top right it has:
 
Date:
Acquisition time:
Series information:
Image information:
Loc:
 
I have no clue what the Loc: means.
I have seen different values but can't figure out the meaning of it.
Anyone suggestions?

It is the slice location + side of the body (Head, First, Posterior, Anterior, Left, Right). It is calculated based on the Image Position (Patient) DICOM attribute though which may be different than the Slice Location DICOM Attribute (which is modality defined). It also assumes that the origin of the patient coordinate system is centered in the patient which isn't necessarily true (this is actually a patient safety issue now that I think about it). I am still using the 2.0 SP1 source though so this may be fixed, not sure. Take a look at the source file:
