Hello,

I've installed the webstation alpha and can get to the ImageServer web pages with no problem, but when I try to view images I get this error.

"Could not establish connection to net.tcp://192.168.1.99:4520/ApplicationServices"

Silverlight installed normally.

XP sp3

Is there something else that I have to do in order to view the images?

Problem solved.

I had the local path in home directory pointed to the wrong place causing this error.

Sounds like you figured out the issue. If something similar to this comes up for others, another possibility for this type of error is related to the clientaccesspolicy.xml file. Connections cannot be established to the application server if this file is not installed properly. there's a section in the User's Guide that discussions the file and how it can be configured.

The source code is not available at this time. We anticipate releasing it when we officially release the 3.0 version.

I had a similar issue using Window 7 with IIS 7. Got it to word by moving the defaultAppPool into the Classic managed pipeline mode after I changed the clientaccesspolicy.xml file to accept only request from my localhost.

my problem was fixed by replacing the contents of the clientaccesspolicy with the example in the user guide.

Sure, I can provide more detail.

My problem was that I had changed this setting some time ago and forgot to change it back.

In Win XP

If you right click on My Computer, click "Manage" then double click on "Services and Applications" then "Internet Information Services" then "Web Sites",,,

Rt click "Default Web site" go to properties.

In the "Home Directory" tab, I believe that you should have the path of                                     "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot"   which is where the clientaccesspolicy.xml file should normally be found.

After setting this back to  C:\Inetpub\wwwroot  everything worked as expected.

Hope this helps.

i'm having this problem with IIS 6 on Win 2003. This testing server has one host header for the domain name. i checked the clientaccesspolicy.xml and it allows all domains.
Any ideas?
