After update to 1.5, I realize the Rename plugin, essential for me, makes 1.5 fails. When I copy the 2 dll, ClearCanvas 1.5 doesn't start...

Any help would be appreciate

Hi, because of the way .NET versioning works, the 1.3 plugin will not work with 1.5. All of the plugins in the plugin repository have not yet been updated to work with 1.5 - I will try to get those all going in the next few days and I'll post back here when it's done.

This raises the broader question of plugin support. Is it the developer's responsibility to recompile plugins as new versions are released? Your responce seems to indicate that you were planning on updating them. I'v been meaning to recompile it since 1.5 came out but I've been overwhelmed with clinical responsibilities. Should be a piece of cake for this simple plugin though I haven't even had the chance to play with 1.5 yet!

Hi Seth, ideally the developer that wrote the plugin would update it, but since there aren't that many in the repository right now, I'm willing to update any that haven't already been updated. That being said, as the community grows, so will the number of plugins in the repository and I'm unsure what will happen then. People may lose touch with the community, leaving dead plugins, and eventually we won't have time to update all of them once there's a considerable number. We might just have to see how things play out.

If you do have time to update your plugin, that would be fantastic :)
