 I am Stuck at Downtime recovery mode in RIS. Please Can anyone make me understand the logic and the purpose of having it. i am able to make out the workflow of it but dont understnd WHY  it is there and how does it affects the RIS workflow

Here's the basic idea:
1. Go to Print Downtime Forms and print out as many forms as you will anticipate requiring for the downtime period.
2. During the downtime, record information on the downtime forms.
3. After the downtime, when the system is back online, switch to Downtime Mode. You can then enter the orders that were performed during downtime into the system retroactively. Use Create Order to enter the order (you will manually enter the Acession#) and then follow the workflow normally.

In Downtime Mode, the worklists will only display procedures that were entered in Downtime Mode.
