To all:  When installing the x64 version on Windows XP Professional x64 (U.S. English), even after a clean boot, when I try to start the application, I am presented with the following dialog box:  "Unable to Query server My Studies:  An error occurred while performing the study root query."

When I click "Ok" the Dr. Watson error reporting window comes up with the following information:  "EventType : clr20r3     P1 : clearcanvas.desktop.executable
P2 : 1.5.11250.33957     P3 : 4ab2e22b     P4 : system.data.sqlserverce
P5 : 3.5.1.0     P6 : 486140a5     P7 : 11e     P8 : c
P9 : system.dllnotfoundexception "

I've tried both the x64 and 32-bit versions and get the same result.

P.S.  I've tried running as Administrator too (even though I am admin on the machine).

Hi elektrik2001,

You might find a solution here: http://www.clearcanvas.ca/dnn/Commu...fault.aspx

If that doesn't help, please post back.

Hi Jasper. I tried the suggestion, but the exact same problem remains.

Hi, can you make sure that you installed SQL CE 3.5 SP1 for both x86 and x64. The x64 install of the workstation requires that you install both.

Hope this helps,
Stewart
