Hi,

I have just upgraded from v1.3 and I'm facing the same problem. As I click the login button, the server interface is displayed and after about 4 seconds the browser is redirected to http://localhost/ImageServer/Pages/Error/TimeoutErrorPage.aspx with the message "ImageServer session timed out. This message is being displayed because there has been no activity in the past 15 minute(s). For security purposes, your ImageServer session has been closed. Please login again to continue using ClearCanvas ImageServer". I'm running Windows Server 2003.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi All,
I'm having exactly the same problem, ie
http://localhost/ImageServer/Pages/Error/TimeoutErrorPage.aspx with the message "ImageServer session timed out. This message is being displayed because there has been no activity in the past 15 minute(s). For security purposes, your ImageServer session has been closed. Please login again to continue using ClearCanvas ImageServer". I'm running Windows Server 2003.

is this a bug or common fault ?

Thanks ;)

Just to double check, do you all have cookies enabled in your browser and javascript enabled? The login functionality uses cookies to keep track of timeouts across multiple open windows.

Hi all,

I'd like to add my voice to the list.
It timeouts in approximately 1 second once login completes.
I've set an NTP policy to point to one of our NTP time providers but I guess it only uses cookies(?).

This is my Error Log (I've broken the lines in 2):

2009-09-03 09:26:29,037 [Web (@127.0.0.1,IE 7.0, User:Unknown)]
WARN - Time provider not found - defaulting to local machine time.

2009-09-03 09:26:29,147 [Web (@127.0.0.1,IE 7.0, User:Unknown)]
INFO - admin has successfully logged in.

I'm testing on an HP SFF Desktop running WIn XP Pro with a clean install of CC 1.5 & RIS 1.5, cookies & Javascript are enabled on my browser but CC just doesn't bake any cookies.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards,
Simon

Hi,

There's another thread on this problem on the ImageServer forum where I've posted a temporary workaround that stops the timeout for me.

A temporary fix has been posted here that properly handles the "en-GB" localization:
