Hi

I am using Clear Canvas Image Server as PACS Server. It is working fine. Last week we configured GE CT and Fuji CR with the PACS. Both modalities successfully send images to the server. Today when i tried to send images the PACS Server, an error message appears on both modalities. Even i cannot Q?R images from EFILM, OSIRIX or Clear Canvas Workstation. Clear Canvas Workstation on image streaming shows images but not in Q/R. If i query the server using web interface i can view images.

Will you please tell me where is the problem. I tried all the troubleshooting i know. URGENT help is needed as i am struck with this and this is the for the first time.

Hammad

I would suggest, run verify from Clearcanvas Workstation and make sure it is successful. All check all IP add assuming you have setup send/receive correctly in PACS for these two modalities.  Good Luck.

Everything (PACS IP Address, PORT and AET) is configured correctly. In my post i mentioned this setup worked fine for 48 hours after that i am facing this problem.

Hi, can you try and restart the service from tools services and for good measure restart the workstation. Its a possibility that the service has stopped.

It may that there are 2 or more software listen a single port, remove any workstation if you have installed in the same computer that your server is installed.

I had installed only ClearCanvas Workstation on the PC and no other software is using the port i assigned to CC WS. And service of CCWS is also in START mode.

If the firewall is on you may need to specifically add exceptions for your incoming ports.

As a quick test, can you telnet to the server on the port it's listening on?

telnet

as an example:
telnet 10.0.0.50 104

You'll get connection refused, or you will get an emply screen with a cursor at the top. If you get a blank screen, you're connected, if you get connection refused, something is blocking the connection or it's not listening on that port.

If you don't get a connection, go on the imageserver PC and try a telnet locally:
telnet 127.0.0.1 104

If you can't connect, there is an issue with imageserver, if you can, there's something blocking it.

I tried to telnet the server. But a blank screen appears with cursor blinking as i press Enter after typing the following command telnet 192.168.50.25 5678.

I tried to send images from EFILM Workstation to ClearCanvas Image Server. The EFILM Queue shows that the images are successfully send to the server but no studies are shown under the studies tab. I browse and found studies under Work Queue. I tried to reschedule the studies but no success. (Log is attached fro review). I wanted to know to why the studies are going there instead of studies tab. (As, i am new to ClearCanvas. Guidance is needed why this is happening).

I also tried to pull images Q/R from Efilm. When images are pulled no images are retrived from EFILM. Log is appended below for review.

That means you are able to connect.

That looks like CC and Efilm aren't compatible, the CC SCU is not able to understand the response from Efilm. Can't help you there. It just doesn't look like they can talk to each other.

You can't process the studies you sent to ImageServer from eFilm because the ImageServer is unable to access the database. If you check the alerts or the ImageServer application log, there are several errors related to SQL login failures, indicating that the database is inaccessible.

Either restart the ImageServer shredhost and try again, or read the application log yourself and see if my guess is right.
