The first exception in your post was related to a SQL timeout occurring. Do you have excessive usage of the database, or do you have a large database or is the server under powered with the database that may be causing performance issues? Seems like there is an issue potentially with the database.

Dear Steve,

Thank you for your reply.

Now there is no "clients" connected to the ImageServer (Core i5 with 8 GB RAM aprox. 200.000 studies) and the study is still in Web deleted scheduled state. The CPU usage is about 7% and I have tried to delete the study 1 month ago aproximately. Every day this ImageServer receive studies from another PACS and is workinkg fine, so I think that has nothing to do with resources. No clients query the ImageServer, it just receives studies from another PACS.

I have no way to make reprocess the study. If I send the study again from the other PACS nothing happends. If press the reprocess button I got the error I have mentioned. I am stucked here.

In the study information page it does not show any information about the study path, so perhaps the study have been deleted from the file system, can I deleted manually from the database server? I have some experience with MSSQL but don´t know what tables do I have to touch exactly. Then I can send the study again from the other PACS because the deletion of this study was a mistake.

Thank you very much,
Ignacio.

If you want to clean out the database, the best thing would be to call the [DeleteStudyStorage] stored procedure for the study. In fact, this actually may be the function that's failing to cause the errors you saw in the workstation. You can test to see if it works or not, and can take a look at what its doing to attempt to do a manual delete of the study.

 Thank you very much Steve!

I have executed the SP and the study had disappeared. Then, I have resended the study and it is back again.

Sincerely yours,

Ignacio.
