Hi everybody,

I have downloaded the latest source code from your repository, and I am not able to build it using Visual Studio 2010.

I tried on a Win XP and Win 7 machines.

Does anyone experienced the same problem and did manage to find a solution ?

Thanks in advance...

When we switched from 2005 to 2008, it pretty much worked, but there was still some grunt work that had to be done - can't remember specifically what, though.

Anyway, as you've discovered, it won't work for 2010 out of the box. If you post some more information about the errors you're seeing, I might be able to provide some help.

Hello,

Your error means :

Visual Studio doesn't like several projects to be given as argument for msbuild command.

Can you compile into the IDE without "explicitely using msbuild" ?

Or better question : which solution/projects do you have open ?

I search but i haven't found how to compile without "explicitely using msbuild" in Visual c# 2010.

Projects I opened were ImageViewer and ImageViewerSamples and for both I have same errors.

I test into Visual C#2008 and I have those errors again.

Opening ImageViewer.sln solution is fine. This will load many projects into the workspace.

Visual Studio 2008 should open flawlessly, while VS 2010 should ask about projects conversions (I don't remember if it's when opening solution or if projects are "unavailable" and should be opened one by one to be converted).

Then, right-click Dicom.Common and see whether this base project compiles or not. Then you can go further...

HTH,

Barbara
