Is it possible to compile and run the ClearCanvas.Common and ClearCanvas.Dicom assemblies in Mono?

Early on during development of the ClearCanvas libraries, an effort was made to have them work under Mono. There are still some Mono related #defines in the ClearCanvas.Common library. The DICOM library itself was actually developed after that time. We ourselves have never tried compiling under mono, however, we'd love to hear anyone's experiences who have done it!

I have ran Mono Migration analyzer on DICOM.dll , it did not report any issue. It means you can just copy the DICOM.dll on Linux platform with MONO it should work.

On a related note, I have compiled the DICOM & Common libraries with MONO recently, and they compiled fine.
