  I can query studies from our siemens PACs server but when I try to retrieve I instantly get an error ( the move operation failed,SVR:failure status move SCU: Failure cannot understand.

please advice or help in this issue

Can you please disable the Firewall and try again? Maybe this is the issue. We had the same problem, and solved the problem like that.

sorry I forgot to mention that I have disabled the firewall on my local workstation and we still have same issue. do we need to disable the firewall on the linux pacs server?

my thoughts are not to disable but get IT to let you through
