Hello,

Occasionaly CC workstation can not import images from certain hospitals / vendors.

The exeption log states that the images ar enot in correct format.

How can that be worked out?

is it possible to bring them in complaince with CC workstaion expected formats?

Technically, pretty much any image can be converted to DICOM, but you might have to write some code. Do you know what format they are in? Can you post the logs?

I also have this problem with some CD's. I find I still must use eFILM to import and CC to view from server. This has become a big problem for me with import not working sometimes and working on other viewers. I hope the next version will address this?

So, they are DICOM images, it's just that we don't support the transfer syntax (compression method). Our DICOM conformance statement lists the transfer syntaxes we support. If they are JPEG2000 (lossy or lossless), we have a codec that is not yet publicly available, but it would not be free because it uses a proprietary (e.g. you need licenses) toolkit.

Otherwise, we have not yet planned to add more TS support. That doesn't mean we won't, but I can't give you any specifics or a timeline.

Regards,
Stewart

If someone was to purchase the plugin, would it be supported with future releases of CCWorkstation? Or would they have to re-purchase?

$250.00 is a more than reasonable price to pay for a plugin that would provide this functionality.
