I am a veterinary radiologist and some of my clients' US images open as these strange color-block images.  They are DICOM images and open fine with another viewer (kPACS).  I'm not sure what US unit they are using but could probably find out.  Just checking to see if there is some simple setting I need to change.

I'm unsure as to what may be causing this.

Would it be possible to get an anonymized sample of these images, or perhaps an anonymized screenshot of the strange display? If you're having difficulty attaching the file to this thread, you can use our FTP server (images.clearcanvas.ca, login/password is images/images - you won't be able to see the directory listing, but you can upload).
