I have got a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with.

1 - Where are the images stored on the local machine, once I have retrieved them from a server and do they get deleted after a certain period and is this what the high and low watermark is for?

2 - Is it possible to set CC up so that it does not retrieve images from a server if they have already been retrieved?

3 - How do I get the reference lines to work, do they only work with certain modalities?

4 - Is it possible to query more than one DICOM server at a time and if so how?

5 - Is it possbile to drive CC from within another program and if so how?

6 - Is it possible to do hanging protols and if so how?

Any response will be greatly appreciated

Hi,

1. Images are typically stored in C:\Program Files\ClearCanvas\ClearCanvas Workstation\filestore. And yes, that is what the watermarks are for. When the disk usage hits the highwater, it deletes whole studies until the usage is at the lowwater.

2. No. You generally want to be able to retrieve a study even if it already exists, since it's possible that the data on the server has changed.

3. I'd recommend that you take a look at the documentation for this.

4. Yes. You can create a server group, then add servers to the group. When you query the group, it'll recursively query all the servers in it.

5. Yes.  You can find it here in the developer's guide.

6. No, not yet.

Hope that helps.

N.
