A much anticipated feature of the ClearCanvas ImageServer has arrived: web-based DICOM image viewing! 

The ClearCanvas Webstation is a Microsoft Silverlight web client included with the ClearCanvas ImageServer, so now it's easy to view images just by double-clicking on a study. The ClearCanvas Webstation uses a truly thin-client technology and that means everything - including gui controls, image rendering, and state management  - is done server side.  

Many of the core viewing features of our popular ClearCanvas Workstation desktop application are here, including zoom, pan, measurements, rotation, probing, survey explode and more. Other features can be easily added with a bit of coding using our plugin architecture.
