We are delighted to have a partnership with University Health Network (UHN) and Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH) in Toronto, Canada to develop one of the first full scale open source RIS/PACS in the world. UHN/MSH is one of the largest networks of teaching hospitals in Canada and has been filmless since 1999. The first phase of this multi-year project will consist of developing an IHE compliant RIS along with continued development of ClearCanvas Workstation, our diagnostic viewer. Because our offices are now located at UHN, we are in the unique and fortunate position of being able to easily interact with and understand the real needs of a diverse and international group of users. This, combined with an agile software development process known as Scrum, allows us to focus on delivering healthcare IT applications that users really want, be they radiologists, technologists, RIS/PACS administrators, or hospital executives.

Sentinelle Medical is dedicated to furthering Breast MRI and interventional technology. As the first external consumer of the ClearCanvas Application Framework, they have played an important part in helping shape its development. We're excited about our continued technical partnership with Sentinelle as we both strive to improve the Framework's usability and flexibility.
