 Hi,

I am trying to test the ROIAnalysis sample included in the source code but i get an "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" message while the viewer is trying to open. After this the viewer is empty with no images loaded.

If i remove the ROIAnalysis from the plugins directory everything works as expected.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance

Is there anything in the Workstation log file when this happens?

Might actually be that the sample isn't working properly anymore. Based on the logs, one of the attributes on the ClearCanvas.ImageViewer.Tools.ImageProcessing.RoiAnalysis.RoiAnalysisTool is incorrect, in particular the name of the property or event for controlling whether or not the tool is enabled. Try commenting out the EnabledStateObserver attribute on that tool.

 Thank you Stewart.

Now i can see the button. However when i click i get:

System.NotSupportedException: No extensions found for extension point ClearCanvas.ImageViewer.Tools.ImageProcessing.RoiAnalysis.RoiHistogramComponentViewExtensionPoint, or the extensions could not be instantiated.  Please see the log for more information.

   at ClearCanvas.Common.ExtensionPoint.AtLeastOne(Object[] objs, Type extensionPointType)

   at ClearCanvas.Common.ExtensionPoint.CreateExtension(ExtensionFilter filter)

   at ClearCanvas.Desktop.ViewFactory.CreateView(IExtensionPoint extensionPoint, String toolkitID)

   at ClearCanvas.Desktop.ViewFactory.CreateAssociatedView(Type modelType)

   at ClearCanvas.Desktop.ApplicationComponentHost.get_ComponentView()

Note: I build the project against the binaries and paste the dll in the official distribution.

No problem. If you're doing things the manual way, you will have to copy the View.WinForms.dll as well.
